This summer has been busy in the very best way. 💛

Through our summer programs and incredible community partnerships, Nourish Nantucket has helped provide:

🥪 More than 3,300 meals to Nantucket students

🍽️ 150 prepared meals each week for 12 weeks — another 1,800 meals reaching island families

🥕 25 bags of fresh, locally grown produce each week for 16 weeks — 400 bags of Nantucket-grown fruits and vegetables

That’s thousands of meals and hundreds of bags of fresh produce helping make sure good, nourishing food is available to our neighbors all summer long.

Partner Spotlight: Nantucket Family Resource Center

The Nantucket Family Resource Center provides free family support services, guidance, and referral services to individuals, children and families. Working with a number of community partners, they provide invaluable knowledge to educate and improve family wellbeing. FRC provides walk-in access to the Food First platform.

NFRC is free, confidential and translation services are offered in any language.

With NFRC, community members complete a short 6 question survey to identify the food access programs they may be eligible for, including our Grocery Card Program, which provides flexible, low-barrier grocery access at local stores for individuals and families. 🛒
