Thought for Food Series Continues with Sam Landercasper
Join us for our ongoing community presentation series, Thought for Food! Each presentation features news and updates from Nourish Nantucket followed by a guest speaker in the food sector. Previous speakers have included Island Grown Initiative (Martha’s Vineyard), National Right to Food Community of Practice, and Senator Markey’s office.
This May, we are proud to present Sam Landercasper, founder of BEAM Partners. Sam will present the results of a food insecurity study completed by BEAM Partners to help us identify who is food insecure, how do we define food insecurity, and how do we invest in programs effectively to make a difference?
