Anne Dawson

Anne has spent her entire career in the food service industry. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, she worked several years in corporate restaurant management. She moved to Nantucket in 1985 and eventually opened Fog Island Café with her husband (Mark), which was a beloved island fixture for 25 years. Her children were always actively involved in the family business and opened Keepers Restaurant in 2017. She credits the success of both restaurants to the incredible support of the local community and the amazing team members she was so lucky to work with over the years. She now volunteers her time and shares her industry knowledge with Nourish Nantucket to develop and support food programs to help Nantucketers in need. She is excited and grateful for the opportunity to give back to the island she cherishes and has been so fortunate to call home.
