Steven Segal

Steve Segal and his wife, Ellen, have been coming to Nantucket since the late 1980s and became seasonal residents in 2006. He is a retired private equity investor and former co-founder of J.W. Childs Associates, a Boston-based private equity firm. Steve also spent 14 years as an Executive-in-Residence and Lecturer at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, where he developed and taught a graduate-level private equity course. He has served on numerous for-profit and nonprofit boards, continues to mentor emerging leaders, and brings experience in governance, finance, and strategic planning to the Nourish Nantucket Board.
