Kate Ortega

Kate has lived on Nantucket since 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting Management from Northeastern University and is currently a graduate student at King’s College studying Nutrition and Dietetics. A mother of two, Kate has a long-standing interest in health, nutrition, and food systems. Through her graduate studies, she is completing an internship with Nourish Nantucket, where she serves as the CARAT project manager and a program intern supporting food access and community-based initiatives.
