Jon Fernandez

Jon Fernandez and his family have been seasonal residents since 2022, after falling in love with the island with his wife (Caroline) on their honeymoon.  He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Yale Investments which manages the assets of Yale University.  Prior to Yale, Jon was an executive in public company technology at VMware, and at the world’s largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates, where he was Deputy CFO and Head of Research.  His expertise lies in strategic planning, digital transformation, and financial management.  He currently serves on several other non-profit and start up boards.  Jon holds an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A from the Yale School of Management.
