Chuck Shoneman

Chuck and his wife Merle have been homeowners and seasonal residents on Nantucket since 1984. They treasure Nantucket’s natural beauty and elegant charm. Chuck and Merle have two daughters and three grandchildren that spend time with them on Nantucket during the summer. Chuck is currently President of the Board of Trustees of Congregation Shirat HaYam on Nantucket. Chuck practiced energy regulatory law in Washington, D.C. for 46 years before retiring in 2019. Chuck served in various management positions at his law firm. He is a graduate of Duke University and George Washington School of Law. When they are not on Nantucket, Chuck and Merle reside in Westchester County, New York. Chuck enjoys playing golf at Miacomet Golf Club and a friendly game of poker.
