Nourish Nantucket Food Program Updates: December 2025
What a year it has been! Thanks to a generous gift received over the summer, Nourish Nantucket was able to implement its own food programs. These programs will continue to adapt and evolve, but we are proud of our accomplishments thus far:
Nourish Nantucket Meals
In partnership with Nantucket Catering Company, we have been offering ready-made meals every Tuesday since the middle of September. The program serves 150 meals every week and is free of charge to anyone in need.
Nourish Nantucket Grocery Card Program
We are currently assisting approximately 600 individuals to date. Each individual receives a $50 Stop & Shop card (per month [6 months total]) to help offset the high cost of groceries on the island.
The Pip and Anchor van, filled with fresh produce from local farms, ran on Fridays throughout November and December. Produce was available at no cost to Club families.
