Nourish Nantucket Appoints Meg Browers as Executive Director
Nourish Nantucket is proud to announce the promotion of Meg Browers to the role of Executive Director.
Browers has been with Nourish Nantucket since 2023, serving as the Director of Development & Operations, guiding the organization through a period of remarkable growth. Under her leadership, Nourish raised more than $1 million in FY25 and has already surpassed $2 million in FY26, fueling expanded programs and partnerships to reach more island residents with healthy, nourishing food.
“Meg has been a driving force in strengthening Nourish Nantucket and positioning us for long-term impact,” said Board Chair Brooke Mohr. “Her vision, deep commitment to collaboration, and proven ability to build resources and relationships make her the right leader for this next chapter.”
As Executive Director, Browers will oversee all aspects of Nourish Nantucket’s operations, fundraising, and strategic direction. She will also guide the launch of new initiatives designed to deepen collaboration among local food producers, service providers, and nonprofits – ensuring that more Nantucket families have access to the food they need.
At the heart of Nourish Nantucket’s mission is a commitment to care for the community and for the organizations working tirelessly to feed people every day. “We believe deeply in supporting and partnering with those on the front lines of food security,” said Browers. “Our work is about building strong, lasting collaborations so that together we can create a more resilient, equitable, and food-secure Nantucket.”
